Sagitwe

Starting in town, you will walk southwards and into the hills of Mabungo parish. This is the place where Christianity first came to Uganda. The short but steep climb of the distinctive hill named Sagitwe will give you 360 degree views of Kisoro district. On a clear day it is possible to see into Congo and Rwanda. If you are still feeling fresh from the walk, it is possible to climb the hills behind Mabungo Church or take a longer route back to town.
